ESL 56 - College Writing for ESL- 4.0 units - 6 hours lecture Prerequisite: ESL 147AB or either ESL 54A or 54B or placement by the college writing assessment process. Grading: letter grade or credit/no credit Intensive summarizing, paraphrasing and development of conceptual paragraphs incorporating elements of cohesion, unity and audience.
