This is a lesson about using contractions the simple present conjugationof the verb, to be. The main purpose of this lesson is to providemany interactive quizzes so that students may practice using contractions.
Contractions are made by taking two words and combining them
by droppingthe first letter of the be verb and using an apostrophe to replace
