The Los Angeles area offers world-class entertainment and recreation for all tastes. Long Beach and the surrounding communities also boast superior public services, such as public transportation.
Long Beach City College is a two campus college. The English as a Second Language Department is located at the Pacific Coast Campus, so named since it is located on the Pacific Coast Highway. Some classes are held at the Liberal Arts Campus, approximately 5 miles (8 kilometers) away.
